The area where we live, and where we're getting married, is commonly referred to as the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. The NEK is a rural, pretty remote area, with deep woods, beautiful mountains, clear rivers and moose galore. We're getting married on the side of a ski area, so there are some amenities nearby. Our hope is that while you're coming to the NEK for our wedding, you might stay to ride your mountain bike, go for a hike, paddle a canoe or fish in our lakes or streams. East Burke, our town, was rated one of the 101 Best Outdoor Towns in the US, and one of Boston Magazine's Best of New England. Hopefully we can direct you to the right people or the right places to find some fun while you're in town!
